An Easy, Cost Effective Method to Survey Temperature Uniformity in Furnaces
Without the Use of Wires or Electronics.

About TempTabs

TempTabs are an easy, cost effective method to monitor process temperatures and temperature uniformity in furnaces without the use of wires or electronics. TempTabs are made from materials that exhibit controlled shrinkage over time. They measure the effect of temperature and time at temperature. TempTabs are currently available in two different temperature ranges:

April 2008 - Industrial Heating features TempTabs in the featured article: "Simplified Temperature Uniformity Surveys Utilizing Ceramic Technology for the Metals Industry".

January 2008 - TempTabs are selected as one of the Top Ten Technologies in 2008 by Industrial Heating magazine. "Industrial Heating will present an article in 2008 giving more information on this new technology."

Applications:

  • Heat Treating
  • Hardening (Neutral & Case)
